Conference on Micro and Nanoengineering, MNE 2017

Prof. Busnaina, the Director of the NSF Center for High-rate Nanomanufacturing was an Invited Speaker at the Conference on Micro and Nanoengineering (MNE) 2017. The 43rd edition of this International Conference took place in Braga, Portugal from September 18th to 22nd, 2017. On his lecture "Scalable Printing of Nano and Microscale Electronics and Wearable Sensors" Prof. Busnaina talked in more detail of how new printing technology for printing of nano and microlectronics and sensors on flexible or rigid substrates has been developed.

The MNE2017 conference will be chaired by Prof. Lars Montelius (INL, Braga) and Prof. Francesc Perez-Murano (CNM, Barcelona). The series of MNE conferences are considered to be the premier application oriented nanotechnology conference in Europa. The technical program will comprise 8 Plenary Speakers, 16 Invited Speakers and close to 100 Oral Speakers, as well as a as hundreds of Poster Presentations. This year we estimate that the MNE 2017 will attract more than 900 delegates from all over the world. Due to its location in Portugal we foresee increased attendance from South-American and African countries enabling new exciting links and collaboration opportunities to emerge. The social program will also be rich allowing plenty of opportunities for enhanced and flourished dialogues and meetings of minds. - Raquel Carvalho, Conference Secretariat.
